DOES YOUR CHILD HAVE TYPE 2 DIABETES
Medical researchers from Appalachian Clinical Research
are evaluating the effect of an investigational medication on blood glucose levels in children and adolescents with type 2 diabetes, to assess its efficacy and safety.

Children and adolescents 10 to 17 years of age with type 2 diabetes who are currently on a diet and exercise schedule and/or taking medications to treat diabetes may qualify.

Eligible study participants will receive study-related medical care, glucose/ketone meter and all supplies, the investigational medication (or placebo) at no cost, and compensation for study-related travel may be provided.
