John Trimble,Ph.D., MD 

Principal Investigator

Dr. John Trimble has been the Principal Investigator for ACR since 2013.

​

Dr. Trimble attended Colorado State University where he received his Ph.D.  He held multiple teaching positions, Assistant Professor of Zoology and Physiology at Louisiana State University, Assistant Professor of Pathology and Anatomy at Creighton Medical School and Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Nebraska College Of Medicine. He accomplished all of this while attending Medical School at Creighton University where he obtained his medical degree in 1980.

 

After graduating, he completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, internship in General Surgery at Creighton Medical School and completed his fellowship through the NIH in Allergy and Infectious Disease.  He also served as the Director of Emergency Medicine at Lutheran Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

He is well regarded in the Northwest Georgia medical community and held a position as a member of the Board of Directors for Harbin Clinic.  Harbin Clinic is the largest privately owned, multi-specialty physicians group in Georgia, comprised of 240 medical professionals representing 40 different medical specialties and services.

​

In his spare time, Dr. Trimble enjoys reading and taking care of his 234 acre farm where he and his wife raise thoroughbred horses.

Victoria Ward

Site Manager

Victoria is the Site Manager for ACR. She handles the day-to-day operations, such as budgets and contracts, finances and accounting, and business development.

​ 

Victoria attended Orlando Technical College School of Nursing, where she received her degree in Nursing.  After graduating, she worked as an Oncology Nurse for 20 years, providing direct patient care, statistical reporting of cancer incidences to the CDC for the States of Florida and Georgia, and Clinical Research for NIH Oncology studies. Victoria has extensive experience as a Practice Manager in Family Medicine and Allergy Asthma and Immunology clinics.

​

Since 1984 Victoria Ward focuses on industry sponsored clinical trials. Her experience spans Clinical Coordinator to Site-Manager. Victoria directs since founding ACR in 2013.

​

​Victoria enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Ava Denise Ittner

Study Coordinator

Denise has been a study coordinator with ACR since 2017. She has worked in the healthcare industry since 1995 and has extensive experience as a Practice Manager in Family Medicine.

​

Denise’s primary role at ACR is to facilitate and coordinate the daily clinical trial activities.

​

Denise enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing at the beach.

​
